Refund Policy

Overview

This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be provided for payments made on the Rozgoo platform. We strive to be fair and transparent in all our dealings.

Candidate Registration Fee (₹199)

Generally Non-Refundable

The candidate registration fee of ₹199 is non-refundable because it covers verification services that are rendered immediately upon registration, including:

  • Profile creation and verification
  • Document validation setup
  • Access to assessment system
  • Job matching algorithm activation

Exceptions

Refunds may be considered in these exceptional circumstances:

  • Duplicate Payment: If you were charged multiple times for the same registration
  • Technical Failure: If a platform error prevented you from accessing services
  • Service Unavailable: If we cannot provide services in your location within 30 days

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of payment.

Partner (Employer) Fees

Refund terms for Partner fees depend on your service agreement:

Pay-Per-Hire Plans

  • Fees are charged only for successful placements
  • If a placed candidate leaves within the replacement guarantee period (90 days), you receive a free replacement OR a credit for future placement
  • No cash refunds for placement fees

Subscription Plans

  • Monthly subscriptions: No refunds for partial months
  • Annual subscriptions: Pro-rata credit may be issued for unused months if cancelled within 30 days
  • Cancellations must be submitted 7 days before the next billing cycle

Recruiter Deposits

The ₹199 recruiter deposit is processed differently:

  • Deposit is held as security during employment
  • Returned in full upon successful completion of minimum employment period (6 months)
  • Forfeited if recruiter violates employment terms or leaves before minimum period

How to Request a Refund

  1. Email us at support@rozgoo.com with:
    • Your registered email and phone number
    • Transaction ID or payment reference
    • Reason for refund request
    • Any supporting documentation
  2. Wait for review - We'll review your request within 5 business days
  3. Receive decision - You'll be notified of the outcome via email
  4. Refund processing - Approved refunds are processed within 7-10 business days to the original payment method

Cancellation Policy

For Candidates

You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard. This does not entitle you to a refund of the registration fee, but your data will be removed per our Privacy Policy.

For Partners

Partners may cancel their subscription by:

  • Contacting their account manager
  • Emailing support@rozgoo.com
  • Providing at least 7 days notice before the next billing cycle
